BABY DEDICATION
At Elim Mission Christian Church, the parent/child dedication is an event that we esteem as dear and precious. We rejoice together as a church family when parents make a public commitment to raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
Dedication is not a sacrament; it cannot impart grace or salvation to the child. Salvation only comes as each person recognises his or her sinful nature and receives forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior. As a church, we make a commitment to do everything we can to support the family as to fulfill the call of God upon our lives.
Start children off on the way they should go,
